We are committed to providing a fair and comfortable testing experience for all candidates.
We understand that candidates may benefit from different accommodations to help them perform at their best. Our aim is to reduce barriers and create an environment that supports focus, clarity, and confidence during testing.
If you require assistance, we encourage you to let us know in advance so we can support your needs where possible.
We offer a range of measures to help reduce distractions and support concentration:
Environment & Comfort
- Separate Testing Rooms: available on request – please call 0818 606 106.
- A calm and structured Test environment
- Reduced visual distractions where possible
Audio & Focus Support
- Noise-cancelling headphones & ear defenders: available at every Test Station to support a quieter, more focused environment.
- Exam voiceover: automatically enabled—simply use the headphones and click the speaker icon to listen to the exam.
Accessibility & Assistance

- On-screen timer and progress tracking: stay on track with a built-in countdown timer (15-minute tutorial, 45-minute test, and 12-minute survey), If you have additional time the Test time will be increased.
Screen & Display Options
- Colour scheme and contrast settings: The Test interface allows you to adjust colours and contrast to reduce glare and eye strain, helping improve comfort and focus throughout your Test.
- Right-click strikeout feature: easily eliminate distractions by right-clicking to strike out options as you work through the Test.
- Flagging questions: You can flag questions you’re unsure about and return to them later using the Section Review tab or the navigation ribbon.
- Highlighting feature: You can highlight key parts of a question to refer back to later by selecting the text and clicking highlight. Highlights can be removed by clicking the highlighted area. (Note: answer options cannot be highlighted).
