In-Person Reader & Dyslexia Support Services

The In-Person Reader Service
This service involves a physical reader sitting beside you throughout your exam reading aloud the questions and answers from the screen.
The reader cannot touch any of the equipment, operate the mouse nor can they answer any questions or clarifications that you may have. The reason for this is that it could potentially jeopardise the reliability of the exam and validity of your result. (Please note this service can take up to 20 business days to arrange).
The In-Person Dyslexia Support Service
This service involves the same as the In-Person Reader Service with the addition of the following list of Lexicon words (PDF, 68kb). The words on the left of this table may appear on your exam – the reader can provide the substitute phrase or direct synonym.

Preparing for your Test
Now that you have a clear understanding of the services, some additional steps are mandatory to proceed. These steps are to help ensure that you are prepared and ready for your Test!
You must prepare for your Test using the Official Driver Theory Test Learning App. You must complete, pass and send 3 Mock Test results within the App.

Sending Your Results

Request for Review
Once you have successfully completed and sent your results via the app you can submit a request for review via our Support Request Form or contact our team on 0818 606 106.
A care specialist will contact with you regarding your application within 3 business days.
