Minimum Age for Driver Theory Test Is Now 15 Years Old
Since 1 November 2026, all candidates must be at least 15 years old on the date of their Driver Theory Test appointment. Candidates who are under 15 on the date of their test will not be eligible to sit the test. If you have already booked a test and will be under 15 on your appointment date, you should cancel or reschedule your booking.
Latest Update: Dublin City Test Centre Relocation
The Dublin City Test Centre will officially relocate to a new premises, effective 26th May. All impacted candidates have already been notified in advance via email to ensure a smooth transition and avoid any disruption to upcoming appointments.
