Please bring the original copy of your ID on Test Day
To make your Theory Test day as smooth as possible, there are some important points to be aware of. One of these is to ensure you bring with you the original ID document – not a photocopy or photo of it as these will not be accepted.
- When you arrive at the Test Centre for your Driver Theory Test you will be asked for your ID – please see list below for what is acceptable.
- Tabhair faoi deara, mura dtugann tú aitheantas ceart leat nach mbeidh tú in ann an tástáil a dhéanamh agus nach bhfaighidh tú táille do thástála ar ais.
- We ask that you please arrive 30 minutes ahead of your test time to allow for your check-in process.
No Photocopies or Photos of ID!
We will only accept one of the following forms of identity (hard copy only – photocopy/pictures of ID are not acceptable):
- Cárta Seirbhisí Poiblí (le grianghraf)
- Pas (bailí fá choinne taisteal idirnáisiúnta amháin nó uasmhéid de dhá mhí déag as feidhm)
- Cárta Pas Éireannach (atá dóigh mhaith air)
- Cárta Aitheantais Náisiúnta ó Bhallstáit AE/LEE nó ón Eilvéis
- Ceadúnas foghlaimeora Éireannach catagóir B (Carr) nó catagóir A (Gluaisrothar) nó Láncheadúnas tiomána (bailí agus i riocht maith - bain úsáid as,le do thoil, an leathanach oifigiúil NDLS seo chun bailíocht do Cheadúnais nó Cead Foghlaimeora a sheiceáil)
- Irish Travel Document (for more information see the Citizens Information website)
- Current Ukraine driving licence

- A full current Category B Irish Driving Licence (or one from an EU/EEA member state or Switzerland or Ukraine)
